I love Reiki! I'm so happy to be able to be at practitioner level now - special thanks again to Reiki Master for guiding me through this journey (and life in general at times!)

💚 How it improves my massage treatments:

When working with lots of people hands-on, its not uncommon for practitioners like myself to feel quite drained from time to time or to take on some of the energy of the people they have been treating particularly as I am mobile and go into people homes/ spaces. Unlike some other forms of energy healing, Reiki invigorates the practitioner as the treatment is given, and I can honestly say that I do not feel depleted anymore after treating someone. I have learnt to use Reiki to my best advantage by boosting and protecting myself, so even if you do not directly ask to receive any Reiki you will be getting the best version of myself!

💚How can I request a treatment?

You can request it as an add on or as part of your normal massage treatment, we can tap into the energy throughout the massage treatment and carve out some time at the beginning or the end to focus and channel it where its needed. One of the most common complaints I hear from my clients is that their desk job has lead to a tight upper back and neck.

There are many intricate muscles in this area that get pulled into an un natural position for longs periods causing a build up of lactic acid and poor circulation. It starts with the Trapezius, Teres muscles, Deltoids... this eventually leads to tension in the deeper muscles such as the Rhomboids and Levater - too much of this could eventually lead to scar tissue build up and can feel really, really painful!
