Plum Blossom Needle therapy is a gentle Traditional Chinese Medicine technique used to regulate circulation, calm the nervous system and stimulate the scalp.
For headache, light tapping across the scalp and neck can help ease tension and improve local blood flow.
For sleep problems, gentle stimulation of the scalp and lower leg helps settle the mind and support deeper rest.
For hair growth, firmer, focused tapping on the scalp encourages microcirculation and activates the follicles.
All treatments are tailored individually and carried out with sterile technique.

Hair loss can be distressing.
Alopecia affects both men and women and may appear suddenly or develop over time.

Acupuncture and plum blossom (plum needle) therapy are commonly used in Chinese medicine to support alopecia by:
• stimulating local scalp circulation
• encouraging hair follicle activity
• supporting stress and immune regulation
• improving scalp health

Plum needle therapy uses gentle, controlled tapping on the scalp to activate microcirculation and support hair regrowth. It is often combined with acupuncture for a more comprehensive approach.

Treatment plans are individual. Results depend on the type of alopecia, duration, and overall health.

This short practice introduces eight gentle abdominal movements used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to support digestion and calm the nervous system. Regular practice may help ease bloating, indigestion, constipation, abdominal tightness, and anxiety linked to digestive discomfort. It also encourages natural gut movement and helps the body settle before rest.
You can practise at home, seated or lying down. Move slowly, keep your breathing natural, and stay within a comfortable range at all times.
Recommended times include on waking, before bed, one hour before meals, or around ninety minutes after eating.
This practice is not suitable during pregnancy, with acute or unexplained abdominal pain, acute gastroenteritis with fever, unhealed post-operative wounds, tumours or in serious heart conditions without prior medical advice.
