Yay!! 🙌 What an AWESOME way to start the year of the fire horse 🔥🐎 I did say it was going to be a great year. It’s time to take action and make things happen, as it’s very fast moving!

Here is your reminder it is the last day of the year of the snake. Here’s 7 tips of what you can do before it is the Year of the Horse. You must do these by midnight. If not, you can sweep away good fortune and you don’t want to do that! ❤️
1. Sweep away all the dust - this is sweeping away all the bad luck, misfortunes and everything that doesn’t serve you
2. Cut your hair - as Chanel says, “A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life” -avoid using scissors and knives tomorrow!
3. Wash your hair - this will also get rid of bad luck and misfortunes - because you don’t want to wash away any good luck for tomorrow
4. Get your car washed!
5. Decorate your home with red and gold to bring in new luck
6. Hoover your home
7. Wash your door with warm water in cinnamon! Thank you for the feng shui tip ❤️❤️

It's going to be Chinese New Year soon on 17 February, where the Fire Horse will be waiting for us. I cannot wait!

Here's 3 things I will be doing in preparation for it:
1. Deep cleaning before the 17 February - this is to clean out any bad luck, misfortune or negative energy from the past year. And, when you clear out the old, you let in the new. So, abundance and positive energy, here we come!

2. Decorating my home with Chinese New Year with red and gold decorations - first, I love the colours and red represents prosperity and energy - which repel negative energy.

3. Buying something new to wear - this is a great excuse to go shopping! This symbolises a fresh start, prosperity and good luck - woo hoo, welcome in Fire Horse!

How reiki will always find you

I first heard of reiki when I was 15 years old. I was going through my GCSEs and felt I needed something to help me relax. Back then, there was no such thing as ‘anxiety’ and anything ‘alternative’ was just ‘weird’! My school friend’s mother did reiki and I was open to trying it. I did not understand what reiki was back then and all I remember was lying on a couch, listening to sounds of whales and wondering why my friend’s mum was hovering and waving her hands up and down over me.

Fast forward nearly a decade on, I was backpacking round-the-world and met an American guy called David in one of the most magical places, Koh Pha-Ngan, Thailand (see photo) - this was when it was not so popular with the tourists. David was learning reiki and asked me if I wanted to be a guinea pig. It was a wow moment - all I felt was heat travelling up and down my body getting hotter and hotter. I felt something unlock in my stomach area, which I now know is the ‘solar plexus’ - where we hold our emotions. The heat carried on for about an hour, and it was only then I realised, David had left me there 40 minutes earlier to go chat with others. I only opened my eyes because I could hear his voice in the distance.

When I returned to London, I looked up reiki and started my reiki training with a famous palm reader from Camden. In 2010, an opportunity arose for me to do my reiki master course. Everyone that experiences reiki will always tell you what opportunities follow once they do reiki.
