✨ Volunteer Wanted for a One-Off Winter Lights Walk & Talk! ✨

We’ve been given free tickets to a beautiful local Winter Lights trail, and we’d love to offer this as a relaxed Walk & Talk opportunity for parents… but we’re missing one thing: a volunteer to lead it!

📅 One-off event (date and time flexible!)
⏱ Just an hour or two
👣 A gentle, friendly stroll through the lights
💬 Support parents to connect, chat, and enjoy something seasonal
🎟 Your entry is completely free

If you enjoy chatting, walking, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this could be perfect for you. You don’t need any special skills—just kindness, reliability, and a friendly face.

📢 Calling all parents and parents to be!

Did you know that today 24th September 2025 marks National Fitness Day and this year the theme is ‘Powered By You’. Our Walk & Talk Events are powered by our great volunteers and could not continue without your regular support. They are free to attend and the perfect way to get out and enjoy the fresh air, whilst improving your all-round health and fitness at the same time.

What is an NCT Walk & Talk? It's simple! It's a relaxed, informal gathering where parents, parents-to-be, and carers can meet up for a walk, chat, and connect. It's a fantastic way to:

Get some gentle exercise – perfect for new parents!

Meet other local parents and build your support network.

Share experiences and advice in a relaxed setting.

Boost your mood with fresh air and good company.

Show your little one the world from their buggy or sling!

Why host one? You don't need to be an NCT member or have participated in an NCT antenatal course! Simply choose a date, time, and a buggy-friendly route in your local area, and invite others to join you. It's a wonderful way to bring your community together and help combat loneliness that can sometimes affect new parents.
