The free online eligibility checker allows people to check if they're eligible for free NHS prescriptions and other help with health costs. It usually takes less than 5 minutes and will show the help available if patients are not automatically eligible

Type 1 connect *change of venue* we will be meeting at Costa Coffee, Trinity Square, Colchester CO1 1JR 5-7pm Thursday 31st July.

Next week we will be hold another Type 1 Connect young persons social group meet up.

If you are between 16-25 years old and have type 1 diabetes please come along.

The aim of this group is to give you an opportunity to meet other young people with type 1 diabetes.

This is a group that runs every last Thursday of the month 5pm - 7pm

We have had a great turnout today at our self management, lifestyle and engagement event in . Over 30 people attended the free event with advice available from Diabetes specialist Podiatrist, Dietitian, nurse, technician and the local Suffolk & North East Essex Diabetic Eye Screening Programme - SNEE DESP and Therapy For You. We run these events throughout the year across north east Essex - keep an eye on our social media for details about the next event!
