We are on our way to deliver a RISE session at Marks Tey Parish Hall to help support Market Field School's event that is aimed at helping students transitioning to further education, employment, supported living or social care provisions.

Laura is looking forward to delivering today's session, and we are sure the event will be a huge success.

We are also looking forward to seeing our friends at Bluebird Care - Colchester/Tendring/Braintree/Uttlesford!!!

What is the purpose of a RISE session? What benefit does it bring to people? Well, we think the team at Riverdale Care Home have absolutely hit the nail on the head:

'helping to improve mobility, boost mood, and keep everyone feeling their best — all while having fun together 😊'

RISE provides both gentle physical and mental stimulation, a way to engage with each other, have fun and integrate whilst doing something positive.

'We had a lovely RISE exercise session today, playing with soft balls and enjoying gentle movement together 💪☺️This was our first RISE session of 2026! and it was wonderful to see residents getting involved, having fun, and supporting their wellbeing through activity and social interaction.
