🚀🎊 MY BOOK IS OFFICIALLY OUT IN THE WORLD! 🎊🚀

Yesterday was the official book launch and my birthday! 🥰 And it felt SO good to wake up and feel a huge shift in closing and celebrating such a massive chapter! it’s a new year, with a big project completed, and so much fresh energy on the horizon! 🌞 It’s both the beginning and the end… the end of 4 years of hard work and the beginning of sharing it with the world! 😍

Sunday I celebrated with a sold out supper club at .cafe with a room full of my closest friends, family and clients that I’m lucky enough to call my friends too! 🥰🥰🥰 And I felt like the luckiest girl alive to be supported and celebrated by them all! 🥹🫶🏻❤️ Thank you SO much for being there!!!

Welcome nibbles and food my moi • delicious micro greens gifted by • beautiful magnolia cocktails by .cafe team • table decor, flowers and photos by • details and table setting by • a stand of memories to celebrate the book by • all of the above humans were also amazing servers for the night, helping me get the food out swiftly and beautifully! What do we think?!! I absolutely LOVE it! 🥹 Designed by the incredibly talented and inspired by a beautiful model of my cafe that my best friend made me for my birthday 2 years ago… it was a gift to motivate me to finish this book! It took another 2 years to get here, but… I did it!!! 🥰

This book is full of love and memories! I’m very proud of it and can’t wait for you to see it in all of its glory!!! 🤍

Soooo, I’m very excited to share that the official release date will be Monday 13th April (my birthday 🥳) and I’ll be hosting a supper club launch party on Sunday 12th April at .cafe where you can enjoy a nourishing feast in lovely company and pick up one of the first copies! 🎉🥂💫

“This was the best retreat food I’ve ever had… and I’ve been on a lot of retreats!” 😍

I’ve landed home from a beautiful weekend catering for Sanya .retreats and her guests feeling very grateful and finally able to own something…

I’m really f**king good at my job! 💪🏻💫🤍

Comments like these aren’t unusual… every retreat I cater I’m showered with really kind and positive feedback! 💞 But I haven’t got used to it and I’m always taken back! 😅

The thing that’s taken me a while to own, is that it’s the simplicity that people love. I’m a self trained chef and it’s easy to look around and feel that my work isn’t as special because it doesn’t come with all the frills!

Turns out people don’t want or need all the frills. What people love is simple, wholesome food that feels equal parts nourishing as it does comforting!

And I really love food and I really care about what I’m feeding people!

I shop around for the best ingredients, not the cheapest ones… because I know the difference they make!

I know how to use tofu and get the best out of it… I’m not afraid to season things properly… I also know when to hold back because sometimes all you need is good quality olive oil, salt and pepper to bring out the best in a vegetable!

I’m learning that my art is in simplicity! ✨

And in that simplicity, guests go home feeling inspired to recreate the food on their plate because it feels obtainable! And that’s really freaking cool…

Because I really care about animals, and although I’m not an activist and I don’t judge people’s decisions, it means the world to me knowing people go home wanting to eat less meat and enjoy more veg! 🥹🫶🏻🤍

Feeling grateful for all the love this weekend!

Introducing my next retreat creation! 😍

I am SO excited for this one… the return of crisp autumn air, a gentle nudge to remind us to shift with the seasons, slowing down and going inward, reconnecting to the magic that lives inside all of us! ✨

Creativity, nourishment, play… These are important pillars for all of my retreats, but the intention is so strong for this one! 🤍

Autumn brings with it the element of metal, the power of transformation… but there’s no forcing in this space… there’s a gentleness and subtlety to the transformation. It’s natural, soft, and magnetic! 🪞

Inner magic is all about working with the alchemy of this time of year and tapping into something that is always present… reminding us that energy flows where our attention goes! 🪐

And I can’t believe I’m saying this, but there’s only one room + the bunk room available for Oct so don’t hesitate to reach out and claim your space! ❤️

I can’t begin to explain how insane our retreat home is… pure luxury nestled away just a 20 min walk from the coastal path! It’s my favourite retreat venue to date, without a doubt! ☁️

HELLO! 💕💫🤸🏻‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🍜

Spring is springing and it feels like a good time to catch up! ☺️ I haven’t posted since November, it’s been a whole season and more… and that’s okay! 🙊 So much has happened and I thought I’d share some of my fav moments! ❤️

1. Just a girl in New York wrapped up for -15°C ❄️ Had such a fun week playing tourists with and eating an obscene amount of bagels and pizza slices! 🍕

2. My new yoga home .practise.colchester where I’ve been lucky enough to have multiple sold out yin and dins! 🥹 Laura and Josh have been so supportive, welcoming me to be part of events here + you can even buy my energy balls at reception! it feels good to be part of a community! 🫶🏻

3. Breathing Space Retreat… I’ll create a whole post for this because holy moly, it was the most magical weekend + I got to play tour guide and take everyone to my favourite beach in the UK! 😍

4. Being celebrated be friends for hitting milestones ✨ 10 years of being fully self employed… I wouldn’t have it any other way! So grateful every single day! ❤️

5. A little b&w sneak peak of THE COOKBOOK… 🤫Behind the scenes I’ve been working SO hard to get this out as soon as possible! And to be honest, I stopped talking about it because things seemed to continuously get delayed and were completely out of my hands! However… I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now so, I better start talking about it again! 🤣

6. Big catering job in beautiful Bath last year! Creating grazing boards to go alongside their lunch was so much fun! 🥰

7. The place I get to call home… 🥹 Pinch me! ✨ Manningtree as we got greeted by a glimpse of spring a couple weeks back! 🌞

8. When Dan goes on tour, I eat noodles every night for dinner! 🤭

9. What feels like my catering home… bringing the beautiful views, the best vibes, and a whole lot of support and love to my business! 🫶🏻

10. Slowly, slowly… beginning to offer sound baths outside of my retreat spaces! ☺️ I was invited to hold space for all of the teachers at .practise.colchester which was so special! More of this coming very soon… 🪞

📖 Book update… 📖

Hello lovely humans! ✨

Dropping in with a quick update on book progress! ❤️

Sadly, it’s not going to be here for Christmas after all! 😢

When I received my sample copy last week, I knew immediately there were things that I really wanted to change… I had the tough decision of choosing to release it on schedule as it was (knowing it wasn’t quite right) or to make the tweaks I wanted and surrender to the delay! 🙇🏻‍♀️

I can wholeheartedly say I tried my very best to have it released this year, but this book has had its own timeline, and to be completely honest, it’s always been for the highest good, so I know I can trust this is the right choice! ✨

I’m so sorry to let anyone down that planned on gifting this book for Christmas, yet please know that when it lands in your hands in January, it will have been made with so much love and attention to detail! 💖

I’ve been juggling a lot this month, it’s been one of those humbling periods where I’ve had to let go of a lot of ideals and constantly re-prioritise! ❤️

If anyone else is feeling this energy, remember to breathe deeply, eat even if it’s not the perfect meal and make time to rest even if it feels like there’s no time to rest! 🫶🏻
