Microsuction is one of the safest methods to clean the ear and is considered to be more effective than traditional syringing

The new Pharmacy First service has launched at The Hythe Pharmacy.
This new advanced service enables pharmacists to provide advice and treatment, where clinically appropriate, for seven common conditions

• sinusitis
• sore throat
• acute ear infection
• impetigo
• shingles
• Infected insect bites
• uncomplicated UTI infections in women

Consultations can be provided to patients presenting to the pharmacy as well as those referred by NHS 111 and GP surgeries.
