Hi All
As you all are no doubt aware, the world lost one of its shining lights a week ago. It's been a tough time for us all! Ruthy's burial will take place at 1pm on Thursday 9th May @ Oakfield Woods, Wall Lane, Wrabness CO11 2TQ
We will then be celebrating Ruthy's life back at the Marquis Public House, North Hill, Colchester after.
For those that cannot attend there will also be an online vigil / Celebration of her life on Saturday 11th May @ 10am GMT at the below

This is me and one of my cats. We’ve been in the wars recently, she had both her back legs broken and then later had to have a plate removed as her body decided to reject it.
At one point she had metal growing out of her leg, which was a bit freaky so here she is recovering nicely.
And me, I was diagnosed with a rare untreatable blood cancer, and amyloidosis in the heart, liver, spleen and kidneys. I also have a factor x misnomer which means my blood doesn’t clot as quickly as most, I also have a goitre and overactive thyroid and am menopausal.
It’s been a wild ride and yet through it all my faith stands the rest of time. I don’t want chemo, it is unlikely to work for me and won’t rid me of the amyloid depositors creating the most damage and means a future life on chemo and in isolation for chunks of time away from my animals, my garden and the life I’ve created despite this wretched -ease.
I’m also a shaman, coach, therapist frequency healer, animal communicator, lover of books and the arts, adventurous foodie and traveller free spirit at heart.
I also host my own weekly radio show “animal chat” on the best internet community radio station where you can catch me every Wednesday at 10am gmt.

What a double whammy this Wednesday on KindaSound Radio
My show tomorrow morning at 10am GMT is with my wonderful guest Colin Wyatt and is all about Colin and his cat, a fascinating Bengal feline with a lot to say.
Later on at 19:30pm GMT Colin's show "Can we speak with animals?" where I actually carry out an animal communication 'cat chat' with an aforementioned cat! It is going to be wild!

I love the change in seasons and got to see this pretty blackthorn flower in the morning sunshine as thousands more around it are ready to burst open in bloom
Like nature, much happens in the rest of wintertime and us humans benefit from hibernation at this time too.
So glad to feel the first inklings of coming out of hibernation, not too fast mind you!

Recovery takes many guises, from emergency surgery to post-operative care through to daily grooms, cuddles, gentle strolls around the house and lounging on the sofa.
Keep it varied for your convalescing cat to avoid boredom, and low mood and stimulate the mind and body.
Daily trips downstairs to look out of the windows and snooze on the couch have really boosted this little ladies mood while she’s on strict house rest.
We’ve even seen her start to play again , besting up her catnip mouse and stropping her claws in all the usual places.
Allowing a cat to set the pace of her recovery makes all the difference as does time and space to express her usual cat behaviours.
Nothing is separate, everything is connected and many factors make up the road to recovery all underpinned with love, patience and kindness

I trained as one of the first 50 Energy Alignment Mentors (EAM) and Teach children how to harness and play with their own intuition as an ICU Teacher and am also the Co-founder of Earth School Club.
