🌷 Random Acts of Kindness Day 🌷

Today we dotted flowers around the village to brighten someone’s day… it’s the little things in life that make you smile 😊 we would love to see a picture if you got the flowers! 🌺

Noreen & May loved the fresh air while spreading a little happiness (with a quick trip to the Co-op too!). May, made sure her Prosecco & wine were stocked up… and she even got ID’d 👀

100 years old and looking that good — we totally get why! 💜✨

Pancake Day went down an absolute treat at Colne House! 🥞

With plenty of delicious toppings to choose from, our residents loved watching Emma cook the pancakes fresh in front of them. Jackie was feeling brave and even gave flipping a go! 👏

John enjoyed his so much we didn’t even have time to snap a photo before it disappeared! 🤭

A flipping fantastic day all round! 😋

Love was truly in the air at Colne House 💕

A little belated, but our Valentine’s Day was filled with music, laughter and special memories. Tessa ( Tessa Collitt Singing sang all the love songs our residents requested, bringing smiles (and a few dance moves!) all around.

With tasty nibbles and drinks in hand, we sang our hearts out and danced the afternoon away 💜🫶🏽

Last night we held our Quiz of Love and what a wonderful evening it was! 💕
Residents, families and staff came together to form teams, share lots of laughs and learn plenty along the way. 🧠✨
The room was full of fun, friendly competition and togetherness – exactly what makes our Colne House so special.
Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made the evening such a success. We loved every minute! 💐

Angela truly goes above and beyond every single day, always meeting our residents’ dietary requirements and keeping the kitchen spotless. She brings such a positive vibe to Colne House, and we are so grateful for everything she does 👏💛

Emma also goes above and beyond for our residents, ensuring they enjoy meaningful, person-centred activities from Monday to Thursday. It’s no easy task coming up with fresh ideas every day, but nothing is ever too much for Emma. Her dedication makes such a difference 🌈✨
