Crikey it’s been a tough few months.
But Drop your Gwar has got into the finals of the 2025 SME Business Awards.
Thank you all that voted for me.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the finals due to things going on in the personal life. But absolutely chuffed to get to the finals.

Started my new extra bit on the side today alongside some other jobs I’m working on. Venturing into custom Vans
I absolutely loved changing these plain white Vans shoes to a lovely yellow.

I was going to put up a post today, but I won’t due to what happened at Oulton park in today’s supersport race.
Hoping everyone involved makes it through and I’m thinking of those involved, racers and all staff and marshals.

MSVR statement: British Supersport Championship race, Oulton Park

At the start of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship race at Oulton Park, exiting turn one there was a major chain reaction incident involving 11 riders. The race was immediately stopped and medical services attended.

Due to the extent of the incident and following medical interventions it will not be possible to continue the event and therefore the event is cancelled.

MSVR will issue a further statement in due course.

I had this RST jacket in for a new zip, much needed valet and restore.
Really happy with how it turned out.
Almost like new again.

Gotta love this time of year.
Rider gear tends to come out of storage with the excitement of the new season ahead.
Only to find that when you put your kit away in its bag, it was still slightly damp or has been put in a slightly damp garage for a few months.
A bit like this Alpinestars suit, luckily the customer caught the mould before it took over the whole suit and sent it straight to me for a good clean up and treatment inside and out.

Not much to see here really, but I had this RST suit in for a valet after the customer spent a few days in Seville and Barcelona before Christmas, it came back with a bit of a noticeable odour as well as sweat marking.
Both myself and the customer were very happy with the result. Looking and smelling a lot better now.

On this date 9 years ago, the origin story of Drop Your Gear started and I didn’t even know about it at this point.

After all of the excitement from yesterday launching Drop Your Bags, let’s get back down to business shall we?
Starting the new year with this suit that came in for a restore and a subtle re-colour using Kyle ryde racing #77 as inspiration for the colour scheme.

Also little known fact, the hanger that I use is made by SevenT7 Fabrications which just so happens to be Kyle’s dad. How cool is that.
