The Pressure Gauge
This starts at 0 and will gradually rise to 40 during your session. It's especially useful during decompression, as it shows how quickly the pressure is being released.
The Blue Decompression Dial
This dial opens a valve to release air during decompression.
The more you turn it, the more air is released (up to a set limit). We usually recommend starting with a ¼ turn on one dial, then adding another ¼ to ½ turn after a few minutes. You can gradually open it further, and once the pressure reaches around 30, you can use both dials. Decompression is very individual-some people take 5-6 minutes, while others prefer up to 15 minutes.
The Emergency Release Valve
This should only be used in an emergency. It releases air as quickly as possible and only works while the button is being held down.
All valves and dials can be accessed from both inside and outside the chamber. If you're unsure about using them at first, our friendly team will be right there to guide and support you.
