This year we celebrated our 20th birthday - 20 years of supporting people to flourish, achieve incredible goals, and making every moment matter, from the everyday to the extraordinary. And in 2025, we continued to provide exceptional support, grow our organisation so we can support more people across the UK, and witnessed countless smiles 😊

With too many top moments to include, enjoy our key highlights - being recognised as a Great Place to Work for our colleagues for a 3rd year running, providing the best quality of the life for the people we support with external compliance at 93%, and growing sustainably, being recognised as a Carbon Neutral Certified Organisation ♻️

Another year of incredible outcomes, with many more to come.

This year, Consensus turned 20 and to mark the milestone, we did something truly special.

We invited our services to help us create a time capsule, filled with moments, memories, and messages from across Consensus. Photos, videos, handwritten notes, memory sticks, and little snapshots of everyday life were carefully placed inside, each one telling a story of who we are, right now.

The capsule has now been buried at one of our newest developments, Bromley Croft, ready to be opened in another 20 years time. A gift to our future selves, capturing the people, places, and moments that make Consensus what it is.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made over the past 20 years, and to the moments still to be curated 💗

This year at Consensus, we celebrated 20 incredible years! 🎉For two decades, we’ve been making every moment matter for the people we support, for our colleagues, and creating extraordinary memories.

Over the years, we’ve grown to over 2,000 colleagues and support more than 600 people to flourish every day. We’ve continued expanding & developing our homes sustainably, launched our refreshed brand in 2023, introduced new values in 2024, gone digital with Nourish & Radar Healthcare, and achieved Cyber Essentials certification. We’re also proud to have been recognised as a Great Place to Work, showcasing our commitment to our colleagues growth and wellbeing, building a culture where every moment matters together.

It was Christmas Eve across Consensus, and one of the Consensus Elfs had a very strange request... 3 oranges, a festive hanging stocking, 2 team members, a Toblerone, a beautiful Christmas tree, all together in a photo?! Despite the very strange request, our services rose to the challenge! 🤣

A race to gather the very strange list... Gretton House came swooping in to be crowned '1st Cheating Photo' (the Elfs uphold the rules here!), and Church View won '1st Actual Photo', with the West London team being the first area to get a full house🏆

Innovation was in the air too, with Cheshire House getting their creative hats on to replace the oranges, with orange Lucozade's - disqualified, or creative commitment? We'll let you be the deciders!🍊

Christmas is well and truly in the air at Consensus 🎄✨

From magical trips to Winter Wonderland and festive light displays, to Christmas parties, pantos, jumper days and even a few surprise visits from the Grinch, our services have been full of joy, laughter and unforgettable moments in the lead up to Christmas.

Across Phoenix House, Strawberry Fields, Ashbury House, Perrywood House, Heatherington House, Leofric Villa and beyond, everyone has been getting stuck into the festivities - spreading kindness, celebrating together and making memories that truly matter.
