Today, we had a lovely visit from the RBL who came to thank Maureen for her poppy fundraising. Maureen knitted lots of beautiful poppies and sold them to raise money for a wonderful cause. We are so proud of you, Maureen.

The Silversprings Christmas Card Competition is here! Wahooo! 🎄

We need your help/votes. Our amazing residents have made some beautiful cards and we need you to help pick the winner! Our lucky winning resident will receive a lovely prize, but also bragging rights as the winning card will be printed and be the home's Christmas card to family and friends.

To vote, PLEASE LIKE YOUR FAVOURITE CARD PHOTO - DO NOT COMMENT ON THE POST WITH A NUMBER! We can then easily tally the number of votes on each picture.

Voting closes on Tuesday 25th November and the winner will be announced on Monday 1st December!

Over the last couple of weeks some of you may have seen residents, staff and visitors wearing knitted Poppies, not just the usual red ones but blue, purple and white these have been knitted by the lovely Maureen. To date Maureen has raised £73 for the Royal British Legion selling the poppies !
