Wow! 28 years combined service at Bluebird Care!

Today we celebrate three milestones for Krissy, Sue and Joe.

Krissy (13 Years Service) Sue (12 Years Service) Joe (3 Years Service)

So what can we say about these three?

Joe:
Don't let the picture convince you otherwise, but Joe is in a celebratory mood, rumour has it he may have briefly been thinking about Man United's recent results when this was taken 😆. Joe is our reliable and dependable finance whizz who makes sure that everything runs smoothly for our customers and staff.

Sue:
Our feisty Training Manager, whose presence in the office always brings warmth and laughter and more often than not a risqué joke or two for everyone to enjoy!

Krissy:
The Queen Bee who keeps the Bluebird Care hive, a well oiled machine, constantly looking for ways to improve how we support our customers and all of our care team.

All three of them mean a lot to us at Bluebird Care, and we wouldn't be where we are without all of your skills and personalities.

We had a second birthday girl today, and it's none other than our Registered Manager, Becky.

Anyone who has worked with Becky will know that she is one of the most hardworking and dedicated people to work in the care sector.

Becky does so much for her staff and customers, day in, day out, and never looks for anyone's praise or compliments.

So today, we would not only like to wish you the happiest of birthdays, but also say thank you to you for everything you do.

We would like to wish a very, very, very Happy Birthday to our fabulous nurse, Nicola!

Nicola is incredible at what she does, always leading with compassion and kindness and a genuine desire to help and support people; always selfless.

She brings an amazing warmth and sense of humour to the office with her every day, and we are very lucky to have her at Bluebird Care.

Another wonderful achievement from one of our care team. Shian is part of our live in care team who provide 24/7 care in our customers' homes.

For those of you who aren't familiar with live in care, a Live-in Carer will stay in a customer's home from anywhere between 1 week at a time up to 8!

Shian is one of our Super Live in Carers, and we are so proud to give her this 1 Year Service Award.

Many people return to work on the 5th, but as a care provider, we run 24/7 — people’s needs don’t take a day off so we would firstly like to thank all of our team who have been working through the holiday period.

We’re only two days into the new year and already have the privilege of celebrating our team’s achievements!!!

Huge congratulations to Steph and Matthew, who have both completed their Care Certificate. They each finished all 16 mandatory modules required in the home-care sector, so that's 16x well done from us!

We hope everyone had a lovely end to 2025 and wish you all a wonderful 2026.
