Back in June, the Owen Aves staff took some newly planted sunflowers home to continue growing.

Here are some pictures of their journey - as you can see they are all in different stages despite the seeds coming from the same original sunflower.

The 2nd annual sunflower growing competition has started at Owen Aves. A green fingered family member has grown them all from seeds and they have now begun the journey to their new homes.
Last year proved a success with some giant sunflowers brightening up our staff members gardens.
