Reed Care Services is a family run business that provides high quality care to domiciliary and/or mental health clients in the community. The company cares for their staff as much as they care for their clients.
Reed Care services are seeking to recruit Support Workers who are passionate, caring, and have empathy, with a genuine desire to help vulnerable people in the community.
Duties of the Role
As a domiciliary and/or mental health Support Worker, the role involves the following:
To provide person centred care
To provide high standards of personal care service to clients in their homes
Provide assistance with meals (i.e. food preparation), housework and other light duties within the client’s home based on their agreed support needs.
Assist and prompt clients with medication
Support clients to book and attend appointments
To take clients out shopping, or day out
Provide companionship
Act as their advocate when required
To uphold any “reasonable management request” that the Registered Manager, Service Development or Contract Manager or Company Directors deem to be within the post holders competence and/or contractual requirements
The posts are Full time
Shift pattern:
We can offer a variety of shift patterns but require our staff to be flexible where possible. Our shifts need to cover between 07:00am - 20:00pm Monday - Sunday.
Our full time staff are required to work every other weekend.
However, we can consider part time hours for weekends and evenings
Qualifications
Full training and support will be given, no previous experience required
Punctual, Reliable, Caring, Empathetic, and Trustworthy
DBS is required
2 References (required) of which can be work related or 1 work related and one character reference.
