Skip itchy fabrics, masks, or tight fabrics. Let them pick something that feels good and maybe even include familiar clothes.

🧡Talk about what to expect:
Use social stories, videos, or pictures to explain what Halloween looks and sounds like - costumes, decorations and trick-or-treating routines.

🧡Plan for sensory needs:
Bring noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses, or fidget toys. Take breaks as needed - there’s no right way to celebrate.

🧡Respect comfort zones:
If they don’t want to wear a costume, knock on doors, or say “trick or treat”, that’s okay. Participation should never be forced.
