Today marks a proud milestone for Provide Community as we celebrate the final session of our first-ever Provide Leadership Academy.
Over the past 12 months, 11 colleagues have taken part in our new internal programme, building their leadership skills, confidence and vision for the future of our organisation.
To close the programme, the cohort presented three group business cases to our Board, sharing innovative ideas, fresh perspectives and a clear passion for improving the services we deliver to our communities. The depth of thought, collaboration and commitment on display was truly inspiring.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved, you have set a strong foundation for what comes next.

A brilliant example of person-centred care in action from our React Homecare team. Well done to Joyce and Wayne for such a positive, life-changing outcome.

A cigarette every 4 minutes.
Let that sink in for a second…

When our team first started supporting Joyce, that was her routine. It had become such a big part of her day that it shaped her whole day, leaving little space for anything else.

But here is where the story changes 💚
With the encouragement, patience and genuine care of her Care Assistant, Wayne, Joyce made an incredible decision… to stop smoking ci******es.

And she did it.
Not overnight. Not easily. But with someone by her side, supporting her every step of the way.

Now?
✨ The ci******es are gone
✨ Her home feels fresh again
✨ She has picked up sewing and colouring, hobbies she once loved
✨ She has got her energy back, her spark back… her lease of life back

And our favourite part, Joyce is now planning to spend the money she has saved, on a trip to the seaside ☀️🌊

From “every 4 minutes” to planning days out. It is amazing what can happen with the right support beside you.
Not just changing habits, changing lives.

Yesterday, was World Hearing Day.
This year’s theme from the World Health Organization (WHO) is 'From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children', highlighting the importance of early hearing care, screening and support so that no child is left behind due to preventable or untreated ear and hearing problems.
Here at Provide Community, we are proud to support World Hearing Day and celebrate the vital work of our Community Paediatric Audiology Team, helping identify needs early so children can learn, communicate and thrive.
Hearing health plays a key role in speech, language development, education and confidence. By raising awareness, promoting early screening and connecting families with care, we’re helping ensure children across our communities can succeed, from home to school and beyond.

We are pleased to share that we have been awarded a place on the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub - Social Impact Framework.
This framework provides a compliant route for NHS organisations, government-funded bodies and blue-light services to commission social impact and community-led services.
Through this framework, our services will primarily be delivered by Provide Health, supporting a wide range of health and wellbeing needs across communities, from green health and mental wellbeing to respiratory health, weight management and supported living. Today we were proud to officially open Provide Community Equipment, welcoming commissioners, partners, and other stakeholders to celebrate an incredible journey since our launch in October 2025.
Provide Community Equipment was mobilised at exceptional pace, onboarding 160+ staff, securing a warehouse and fleet, and beginning collections and deliveries within weeks, all while ensuring continuity of care for residents.
Just months on, the service is already delivering real impact:
✨a contact centre handling over 1,000 calls per day
✨over 7,800 collections per month
✨9,500 deliveries, repairs and installations were completed in December 2025 alone
✨94% of equipment value is retained through recycling
The opening was a chance to reflect on what’s been achieved together, and to look ahead to exciting developments in 2026, including digital self-service and smarter logistics.
A huge thank you to our teams, partners and commissioners for their commitment, collaboration and trust.
