The Lunar Eclipse horizon last night …

The sky was so dreamy and magical, a real draw dropper of a sun set ✨🧡

Holding a lot of peace and appreciation for the turn of the season that we find ourselves sensing already 🍂

But, I am also aware of changes like we all are. I’m gonna take it season by season. Something I actually used to tell myself a lot when going through tricky times. I would say … get to the next season Casey and only focus on this one 🫶🏼

If the universe is whipping your arse with change (good or not so good) remember baby steps, whether that be daily, monthly or seasonally. We change a lot in that time … and only see this change once time has passed and reflection has been had 🌕🧡

Love to all as we bridge a new chapter 😘

Im extremely excited to grow into this new number 🍀 the ages that came before have built the foundations and steps I lean on today 🫶🏼

As I celebrated a new age today, a new chapter. I was also closing one too. Tonight was my last class with 💙

I ended my last class with my beginners class. A course that was originally designed as a workshop, and over the years has evolved into what it is today!

I started teaching at when I was 22! Now, as I turn 33 today, I closed the very course I first started with ✨

I cannot express the love and gratitude I hold for and every single student & Tutor I have had the pleasure of meeting, knowing and working with. You have inspired me, changed me and allowed me to grow into the woman I am today! Thankyou from the depths of my soul 💛

To close this significant and heartfelt chapter on my birthday feels so special. It feels like this journey has been paid the respect it deserves 🫶🏼

33 sees me starting placement this Autumn, cruising into my second year and encountering more of my own therapy and soon supervision 🤍 I’m in awe at the change and at the same time grateful to 22 year old me, because she cruised the oceans to get us to where we stand on the compass now.

So, here’s to 33. Here’s to new, here’s to reflection and process. I will forever be grateful to the college and every single energy I have had the pleasure of meeting. Truly!

I want to say a personal thankyou to the wonderful principal Gill for believing in me all those years ago and nurturing me the whole way 💛 you took me under your wing and I always felt your warmth! I also want to say a warm thankyou to for bringing me into the college and introducing me to everyone! You supported me and believed in me. I will always remember that day. Thankyou 💛

This little love turns 33 tomorrow🦋

That’s 33 spins round the sun. She is 5 here, and this is what I would say to her now …

I would pour her a little juice (she loves cherry aid, but she is feral when she has it) give her a little choccie cake, sweep her fringe from her face and give her cuddle. I would say …

1. You’re a lot cleverer than you will go on to think. You just need to find your area of interest and focus.
2. Your past does not define you, if anything it will lead you down a path of introspection and self.
3. Drink more water, those kidneys need it!
4. Your little light is for you first before it’s for others.
5. You love deeply, because you will know grief & loss too soon. But you will be okay.
6. Shanny is your best friend, always 🩷
7. You will meet your prince one day, and get to play real life mummy and daddy. You will love it too!
8. You’re different to what you think you “should” be. But your difference is the magical ingredient 😘
9. Your allergic to spider bites, FYI, stay away 😂
10. You get to own your very own dog when you’re all grown up, and you will love her.
11. You will know heartbreak, but know you get through because future you was rooting for you & Shann on the sidelines. This is something you will feel, follow that.
12. You are a true chocolate lover, and it don’t change.
13. Your favourite flower is a Sunflower 🌻😊
14. Arts and Crafts still remains your favourite hobby, and don’t worry, it comes back in your life, and when it does just know this is a sign of you finding yourself again.
15. You, my little 5 year old self, YOU hold a lot of power, magic and strength for older us. I want to thank-you for that.
16. Your rose tinted glasses are inspiring and so beautiful. Don’t believe otherwise 🩷🩷
17. Your love for glitter lives on, always ✌🏼
18. You are worth EVERYTHING! You simply are fu***ng brilliant little one.
19. Dyslexia doesn’t stop you. If anything it pushes you!
20. You do go to university, I’m still there, so I’ll check in with you when we graduate 😉

The messy part …

This desk was always organised. Ready for a day and evenings work 📑

It now stands holding objects, documents, paperwork and books from the paths that have been walked and the paths that are starting to be journeyed upon 🥾

If you like clean finishes and fresh starts, this can be a little overwhelming and frustrating.

The messy parts can feel slow, unproductive and unsettling BUT Iv learnt and keep learning they are absolutely necessary and give us space to reflect and transition 🧡

Whats been your life learnings and takings from life’s messy seasons? 🍂🌞

Mine - learning how to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. Oh, and learning how to look after oneself in an trigger state has been insightful 💛
