Our swimmers are so multi talented

Tobias has been very productive during our break. He participated in a RNLI Swim Safe open water swimming and safety session held in Clacton - he enjoyed it so much he wanted to go back the next day to do it again.

We are so proud of him. Well done Tobias! Open water safety is so important, and apparently quite fun to race in.

Whilst swimming may be off over the summer, that hasn’t stopped some of our swimmers from exercising and learning new skills. Here’s our very own world champion Mark trying out some karate with the fantastic Colchester Wado Ryu Karate at Leisure World over the summer.

Looking good Mark!

Hope you’ve all enjoyed your summer break and are getting ready to dust off your goggles to get back in the pool when we return. A reminder that there is no swimming on the 6th September due to the Swimability Ess*x Gala.

Squad sessions are running Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th.

Speaking of summer break, the lovely Maggie has been hill walking at the Abriachan forest walks and making badges at family fun day while in Inverness staying with her granny. Sounds like a fantastic way to spend the summer.

Also, loving that hoodie Maggie 😍 chicken wings are amazing!
