The Slow Revolution

The Slow Revolution Gorgeous woman-centred care to experience life at a deliberately healthy pace. Kinesiologist, Somatic Counsellor, Yin & Meditation Teacher. Was it a better time?

The Slow Revolution is the revolutionary practice of slowing down, living with mindfulness and presence, to accomplish more. As a woman who can remember a time of a world without the buzz of the internet and constant pings of mobile phones. I honestly don’t know, but I do believe our nervous systems and energy got more time and space to replenish and restore. The modern pace of life is quite frankly bonkers and it’s messing with our minds, bodies, hormones and takes us further away from our soul’s essence and ourselves. That’s why I created The Slow Revolution for you. It’s the best of my last 10 years worth of support and creations using therapeutic approaches to hold, support and guide your mind, body, hormones and soul back into alignment. Why? Because when we slow down, engage mindfulness, identify our triggers and learn to defuse them. We can show up in the world in the ways that are healthy, tend to the things that really matter, like our relationships, family and work. Are you ready to join the revolution? If so, then welcome, it's a pleasure to have you here. Tara x

I’m learning to rethink how much I can expect from myself.

In some ways, this is nothing new. In business, we often strive to achieve, pushing ourselves to get it done. When we can't meet those expectations, then we’re quick to criticise ourselves or try to "fix" the situation. Like we’re machines.

My lung is on the mend, but I get tired easily. I don’t always have the energy to do what I’d planned. I’m having to consider how I manage this and how much I can expect from myself.

What about you?—how much do you expect from yourself each day? And when you don’t reach it, how do you speak to yourself?

If you tend towards the critical, then try acknowledging your needs by saying this

"Today may feel a little slower, and that’s okay. I’m giving myself permission to rest and trust that I’m still moving forward."

Being kind to yourself takes practice.

We do this so often — we judge ourselves so harshly while others are seeing something completely different.

I thought I was a bumbler. My friend thought otherwise.

This lack of self-belief is what I’m getting into in this week’s Curiosity Club note. How quick we are to dismiss affirming words. How to use 🌱root, 🌸regenerate and ☀️rise to stop you being pulled into old stories.

Self-belief grows in community, not isolation, so sign up for my weekly notes.

So if youʼre still figuring it out… good. Me too.

You donʼt have to be polished to be powerful. You donʼt have to be perfect to be present.

We need more women like you — women who are real, raw, rooted. Who feel deeply. Who question things. Who show up, even when they donʼt have all the answers

Weʼre all walking each other home.

That’s why I share my weekly Curiosity Club notes. They’re a little something to encourage exploration. To ask questions that honour your intuition, your energy and your actual needs.

Does that resonate with you? Find out more.

Hey curious hearts

How do you feel about holding your tongue? Swallowing your words to keep the peace.

As women, we can feel that we’re too loud. That saying nothing sometimes seems like the safer option.

If this resonates with you, here’s what I wrote about reclaiming that energy and the cost of staying silent (when you really need to speak your truth).

I keep coming across posts telling me it’s PSL season. ☕🎃

Meanwhile, my body’s getting very clear about what she’s willing to vibe with - and even PSL can’t stop coffee sends me spiralling into jitters. That’s not ideal when you're trying to run a business or show up grounded and clear.

So I’m sticking with mushroom coffee this autumn for steady, clean energy. No crash. No anxiety. Just clarity, calm focus, and a supported nervous system.

🍂For more calm and clarity, try my weekly note, Curiosity Club.

It’s one thing to know we need space — it’s another to actually give it to ourselves.

It’s something that I notice in myself and in my clients. Here’s the thing - boundaries aren’t something to build during times when you’re feeling tender. They’re much more like a garden that you plant for the future.

In this week’s Curiosity Club note, I’m talking about how boundaries aren’t just about saying ‘no’. I’m also sharing some 5-minute journaling prompts to help you notice what you need and how you might start to give yourself permission to have it.

Be gentle with yourself.

I’ve been meaning to post this. It’s the card I drew earlier in September from my own Regenerative Energy Cards.

Slowing down isn’t something we always associate with this month. It’s often a busy time of the year, accompanied by an expectation that summer has been a time of rest.

The reminder to consider my own energies really resonated with me. I invite you to consider the pace of your life right now. How does the idea of slowing down in September feel to you?

Before you answer, take three slow, steady breaths — in through the nose, out through the mouth — and notice what rises gently to the surface.

What one commitment, task, or expectation could you soften, pause, or let go of this week to give your energy room to breathe?

Meet your Striver.

Your inner Striver is one who makes you keep going, even when you’re tired or hurting or don’t feel like it.

Sometimes that’s great and sometimes you need to find the off switch. I’m not telling you to shut your Striver down altogether. Instead, let’s find ways to embrace the energy and work with it (especially when it goes into overdrive).

I explored this more in a past issue of The Curiosity Club. Have a read and reach out if I can help.

Our Story

Natural fertility Support for women that are struggling to conceive and the challenges that come from this.

As a Kinesiology and Fertility Massage Practitioner, I support women emotionally, energetically, mentally and physically to navigate the difficulties of fertility challenges, so they are in the best possible space to conceive either naturally or through IVF.

Having been through a 7 year long fertility journey myself, I get it! As a women going through these challenges, you need support to not only improve your fertile energy, but also help to survive the heartache and the roller coaster of emotions that are so present during your journey.

And that’s where The Feminine Space is unique, as it offers support to you to: help boost your fertile energy, reduce your stress, balance your hormones, establish strong support network, attract financial abundance so you can afford the support you desire and ensure your romantic relationship is harmonious and supportive as possible.
