We had the honour of arranging a personal and memorable farewell for Roger James Hale on Monday 15th September. Led by the beautifully restored lorry hearse provided by Classic Foden Lorry Funerals, the procession was a powerful tribute — a final journey from St John the Baptist Church, Ruardean to Forest of Dean Crematorium that reflected his passions and profession with dignity and pride. The flowers provided by Forget Me Not Florists also contributed to Roger’s personal and fitting farewell.
It was a privilege to support the family in creating a farewell that was both unique and meaningful.

On behalf of Sam and all the team at Ernest Heal & Sons Construction, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for your generosity in donating to the charity and supporting Sam in his astonishing endeavour. The Arch to Arc triathlon is acknowledged as the hardest in the world. Sam has now completed this and did so in an incredible 74 hours 59 minutes! The amount raised for Muscular Dystrophy UK has reached £21,805 so far. Considering Sam’s original goal was £10,000 this is just fantastic- we couldn’t be prouder of Sam and the generosity shown by you all in contributing to this figure is truly heartwarming.

The Masonry department are currently renovating this Nabresina memorial.
Nabresina is a type of Italian limestone known for its fine grain, warm beige, or pale grey colour (which may contain fossils and shells) and its durability.
The fine grain makes it easy to cut and shape, making it ideal for intricate patterns and designs.
These photos and videos show how, with a little TLC, the memorial can go from being covered in algae and moss back to its natural beige colour (showing all the fossilized shells within it).
