I specialise in Podiatry care and provide a personal, expert & friendly treatment & aftercare service in a relaxed and modern clinic. The clinic is easy to find (see 'How to find me' above). For those patients who are not mobile, I am happy to travel to your home to carry out any necessary footcare. I have over 30 years experience in Podiatry/Chiropody after studying and obtaining all the required

professional accreditations to diagnose and treat foot problems. I undertook my training at Manchester Foot Hospital and Salford Technical College which was (and still is) one of the leading centres in the UK for third level education and research in podiatry care. I began my career in 1980 as an employee of the Northern Health & Social Services Board. I believe I was only the 2nd Chiropodist in all of N.I to be qualified to do Nail Surgery at that time. Therefore I have 100’s of successes in that department which I continue to enjoy. Due to a young family to look after, I went into Private Practice full time in 1994. I have undertaken post-graduate training courses in Biomechanics and the use of Orthotics (arch supports) to treat problems involving pain in the foot, heel, arch, upper foot, knees, lower back & hips e.t.c. I have recently undertaken a Course in Marigold Therapy which is a Homeopathic remedy providing gently, effective treatment for the many foot problems – as no one enjoys pain, this is a much more preferable treatment to anyone who is willing to comply with the after-care instructions!! (This is especially helpful for young children)

I also provide Clinic sessions for Senior Citizens at special reduced rates & for those who only require simple nail trimming .
