Knit and Natter group at Orchard Blythe is growing each week, everyone enjoys a cup tea and chat together while learning a new hobby, or brushing up on our talented skills, we as a group have still not quiet mastered the art of croqueting but we are all trying so hard to learn together as a group.

Runwood Ramblers went out for a lovely walk through Coleshill admiring the lovely new buds and flowers , we then stopped off at our fortnightly group at the town hall where we all enjoyed a fun packed day, with our friends joining in with lots of various activities from hand massage, bingo, jigsaws, tabletop games decorating cupcakes and dancing and singing to a live singer everyone had a fabulous day out.

Orchard Blythe residents enjoyed an evening Chinese takeaway together, we made some colorful place mats together and even tried to use our chop sticks, everyone who attended had a lovely meal with lots of chatter and smiles.

Belly Dancers at Orchard Blythe
Our residents enjoyed an afternoon watching the belly dancers, some even got up and joined in with the fun, with friends and families learning new dance moves while having lots of laughter together.

Arts and Crafts ☘️
Orchard Blythe residents enjoyed some arts and crafts together, we made tissue paper shamrocks with the staff and friends starting the St Patrick's celebrations

Fun with Food
Residents enjoyed our fun with food activity, mixing icing sugar into a lovely blue color then decorating our chocolate biscuits, ready to serve with the tea/coffee trolly for everyone to enjoy.

Community Coffee Morning 🍪🧁🫖☕️
Orchard Blythe residents friends and families, all joined together for a wonderful reminiscing coffee morning, sharing lots of fantastic stories .

Runwood Ramblers
Our residents enjoyed a walk in our local community, we walked to the Coleshill church where we joined our friends for a nice chat and singing together with a cup tea and slice of cake, our residents enjoy our weekly visit to the church and we are always welcomed with open arms .

Pancake day
Residents enjoyed some fun and laughter at Orchard Blythe, on pancake day we tossed a pancake in our pan for fun we did not eat this pancake as it landed on the floor many times with lots of laughter, we then proceeded to fill our pancakes with banana ,lemon and sugar with strawberry or chocolate sauce we all sat down and enjoyed with a cup tea and reminiscing together.

Cooking at Orchard Blythe 🦋🐦
Residents had fun at our cooking activity we made puff pastry butterflies and red robins with jam and chocolate drops, our residents took so much pride in the creations they made, once cooked we handed them out to the residents to enjoy.

Orchard Blythe residents have enjoyed being out in our community this week, we have joined the local church for tea and cakes, and our local forget me not group in the town hall with lots of activity's going on with our friends of Coleshill.
