Quintic Ball Roll utilises a high-speed camera (360 - 1080 frames per second) to track the putter and golf ball throughout the impact zone of either a right handed or left handed player. The system automatically measures over 45 parameters regarding the putter and ball, both graphically and numerically. Quintic is delighted to announce the NEW Quintic Ball Roll (QBR) Indoor System.

Marking the beginning of a new era for Quintic, the new Quintic Ball Roll Indoor System utilises infrared lighting (not visible to the human eye), and a high-speed camera (1080 frames per second) to accurately track both the putter and golf ball throughout the impact zone of either a right or left-handed golfer. The system automatically measures over 60 parameters and instantly displays results graphically and numerically - ready for immediate analysis, review and intervention! Quintic worked with British Diving, understood the requirements and now can change the origin to a specific location within the video (typically the end of the diving board).

The ability to change the origin enabled metrics such as vertical and horizontal displacement of the diver to be collected in relation to the platform and springboard. Specifically, these metrics can be monitored for injury mitigation, by highlighting the distance the divers head is away from the platform or springboard and for performance development. In relation to performance development the take-off holds high importance to the success of the dive with the ability to produce the appropriate forces and direction of centre of mass needed to achieve the required dive height, to complete the number of rotations throughout flight with sufficient time to enter cleanly.

When working in elite sport, there is a very small margin for error. In diving, the difference between being on the podium or not at major championships could be less than a single point.
