We provide compassionate relationships where you don't have to hold everything alone. We offer therapy to children,teens,adults, families and support to educational settings. Hi, Essere is an independent therapeutic practice founded by Helen Lewin and Catherine Croll covering the North West; Lancashire and North Yorkshire regions. With 25 years of experience working with adults, children and families, we have a range of tailored therapeutic services and training programmes available to suit all ages. We are currently developing our trauma training with our associate therapists which we will be delivering next year.
A theme that came through strongly is that we don’t presume we know someone’s experience, it’s imperative that we respect everyone’s experience, it’s unique to them.
So with tentative curiosity we weave in reflections, noticing responses, helping to make sense of something so incredible confusing, developing a trust within the therapeutic relationship 🤍

Today we have been with our associate therapist as we explored a new training programme we are developing called,
Working with Childhood Trauma in Adulthood.
This is going to be a series of training days for therapists and counsellors which we will deliver in the new year. 😊

We are holding our next Personal Development session on Monday 20th October from 6.00-7.30pm.
We have decided that this is the last opportunity to join, so we can close the group to support the process of creating safety and containment.☺️

We held our first Personal Development group for counsellors, therapists and coaches this week.
We shared this poem reflecting on new beginnings, sharing experiences which intertwined, helping us feel connected to ourselves and others. ☺️ Our next meet up is on Monday 20th October from 6-7.30pm in our therapy rooms in Colne, if you would like to join us please get in touch…
