We understand that patients may occasionally request additional documents or services from their GP. However, it's important to know that some of these are not covered by the NHS.

In such cases, GP practices are entitled to charge a reasonable fee or may choose to decline the request.

These services may include (but are not limited to):

β€’ Fit to exercise/travel letters
β€’ Letters of support for housing or benefits
β€’ Adoption/fostering medical assessments
β€’ School absence reports
β€’ Insurance claim forms
β€’ Holiday cancellation certificates
