4 years ago tonight my lovely dad suffered a massive stroke which changed his life for ever, my mum’s too, she is now his full time carer. Laughing and joking is how I remember him when he popped round to pick up some chocolate for my mum’s birthday that night, the last time he drove and walked unaided. No clue about how his life changed forever. So please if you can spare anything I would love to get to my £200 goal. Thank you so much for all your support 🥰

What a fantastic morning in our I had group! 🎉

Just like our amazing 9am group did last week, today it was the turn of our 11am members to come together for a fabulous food taster session to celebrate our Man of the Year, Neil! 🏆💙

A huge congratulations to Neil on his achievement – a brilliant example of what can happen when you keep showing up, trust the process and never give up on yourself. 👏

The table was packed with delicious Slimming World-friendly dishes, proving once again that healthy eating can be full of flavour, variety and enjoyment. 😋🍓🥗

Thank you to everyone who brought something along to share and helped make the morning so special. It’s moments like these that remind me what group is all about – support, friendship, inspiration and celebrating success together. ❤️

Here I am in my happy place ❤️

We’ve got a cracking little raffle prize waiting today, plenty of motivation, and all the support you need to help you through the week ahead – even if it is half-term! ☀️

As for me? It’s a ½lb ON this week. To be honest, it was nearly a maintain, so I’m absolutely okay with that. With this heat, a bit of swelling is definitely playing its part, and if I’m being completely honest, there may have been a couple of barbecues and one or two cocktails enjoyed along the way too 🍹🔥😄

But that’s what life is all about – making memories, enjoying yourself, and then drawing a line and moving forward.

So if you’re worried about what the scales might say today, don’t be. Come along anyway. Group is about so much more than the number on the scales. It’s about support, encouragement, friendship, and leaving feeling ready for the week ahead.

Can’t wait to see everyone today 😍

Winnie and I have already done our morning lap of the block 🐶☀️ and breakfast is sorted ready to enjoy later in group.

I’d completely forgotten how good this is! Why do we stop making our favourites?! 🤤
