For urgent mental health support call 111 and press OPTION 2.

The service is available for people of all ages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in all areas of Wales to ensure those in need of support can access it quickly when they need it most.

If you need to talk to someone urgently about your mental health, or you’re concerned about a family member, call NHS 111 Wales and select option 2 to be placed in direct contact with a mental health professional in your area.

The number is free to call from a landline or mobile, even if you have no credit left.

Over the past few weeks, we have been made aware of some confusion among the local population regarding our services. This has arisen because of the operation locally of a private medical company with a similar name to our practice.

Please be sure to advise friends and relatives to search for “West End Medical Centre” when searching for NHS GP services in Colwyn Bay. Any variant of this title is not an NHS service.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice and snow, with icy conditions and snowfall expected across Wales in the coming days. The cold weather can affect your health, especially if you’re older, vulnerable, or have a long-term health condition. Slippery roads and pavements can increase the risk of falls and injury.

Tips on staying safe:

👟 If you need to go outside, take extra care, watch out for icy patches, and walk carefully
