Due to staff sickness, our telephony and administrative teams are currently operating with reduced capacity. As a result, you may experience longer waiting times on the telephone and delays in processing non-urgent administrative tasks.

❄️ A yellow weather warning for ice and snow is in place.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice and snow, with icy conditions and snowfall expected across Wales in the coming days. The cold weather can affect your health, especially if you’re older, vulnerable, or have a long-term health condition. Slippery roads and pavements can increase the risk of falls and injury.

Tips on staying safe:

👵 Check in on older neighbours, friends or relatives, please consider them when reading this advice

👟 If you need to go outside, take extra care, watch out for icy patches, and walk carefully

🚗 If you need to travel, plan journeys carefully, allow extra time, and drive safely on icy roads

💊 Make sure you have enough essential medicines at home

🧥 Wear suitable clothing

📅 Saturday Flu Clinics at the West End Medical Centre.

We’re holding flu vaccination clinics on:
🗓️ Saturday 11th October, between 9am and 5pm.
🗓️ Saturday 18th October, between 9am and 5pm.

✅ All eligible registered patients should have received an invitation by now.
