It’s important we all look after our mental health and wellbeing.

So if you need to talk to someone – or you’re concerned about a loved one - call 111 and select option 2 to speak to a dedicated member of our mental health team.

We’re here 24 hours a day, seven days a week – offering urgent mental health support to people of all ages across North Wales. The number is free to call from a landline or mobile, even if you have no credit left. πŸ”— https://bcuhb.nhs.wales/health-advice/mental-health-hub/111-press-2/

The electronic prescription service is well underway and we are loving it 😊

This has been such a positive change for us in many ways πŸ™Œ

We have noticed since the electronic prescription service has gone live, many patients have been coming in for their prescriptions before they are ready πŸ•°οΈ

Once we receive repeat prescriptions from the GP it takes us 2-3 days to get them ready. Please bear this in mind when ordering your prescriptions. GP surgery’s have their own timescale for processing prescriptions, we would advise adding an additional 3 days onto their timescale for prescriptions to be readyπŸ§‘β€βš•οΈ

Doing this gives both the surgery and the pharmacy time to get your prescription ready πŸ’Š

If you can, please wait for us to text you before coming to collect. This will reduce the risk of back logs. Following these steps will ensure you do not run out of medication and will help with the smooth running of our services.

Thank you for your continued support πŸ™

A stroke can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time. It's vital to know how to spot the signs of a stroke.

The easiest way to remember these symptoms is the word FAST:

πŸ˜• Face – has their face fallen on one side? Can they smile?

🀷 Arms – can they raise both their arms and keep them there?

πŸ—£οΈ Speech – is their speech slurred?

πŸ“² Time – time to call 999

If you suspect that you or someone else is having a stroke, phone 999 immediately: https://bcuhb.nhs.wales/services/hospital-services/stroke-service/signs-of-stroke-fast/
