No shows are frustrating at any time of the year - but even more so now when I have a list of people waiting on cancellations!! I understand that people are busy and plans change - but please have respect for the fact that it’s Christmas in my house too. All it takes is a text or call, then I can offer your space to someone else!

An American Tourist arrived unbooked at a small hotel in a village in Tyrone.
He wanted a room and asked to have a look at what was available.. The landlord said that was fine, but he would need to leave a deposit of £100, which the potential guest did.
Jimmy took the £100 and nipped down to pay the butcher's bill, of £100.
The butcher took the £100 and drove out to the farm where he bought his beef...and paid his bill
The farmer took the £100 and paid Francie his wages...
Francie took the £100 home and handed it over to his wife...
She went out to the shops and bought £100 of groceries...
The shop owner took the £100 and went up to the hotel, found Jimmy and gave him the £100 - "that's the deposit for Mary's wedding..."
Just then the American came into reception.
"I don't think we are going to stay tonight."
"No bother sir, here is your £100 deposit back..."

And that is why buying local is so important, £100 generates £1000s when spent locally...

In the continuing fight against Covid, and to ensure I provide the safest possible environment for my patients, I have volunteered for the Independent Practitioners initiative and will be Covid tested twice weekly. I hope more private practices will follow so we can work together as professionals to eradicate community spread of COVID-19. Together we are stronger 💪
