Last week, we were proud to spend time in our community honouring mothers, grandmothers, and the special women who hold a place in our hearts. 💐

Jayne and Claire from our branch of John Garside and Son, Congleton, went to Park Lane Residential Home to sit with some of the lovely ladies and make up some floral displays. We were lucky to have flowers donated for this activity from The Flower Gallery. It was such a fun way to spend time within our community and learn about the past lives of the ladies.

Thank you to everyone who joined in, shared a memory, or stopped for a chat. Coming together in this way reminds us how caring and connected our local community truly is.

What a lovely turn out for Congleton Remembrance Sunday Parade. It's always an honour to be a part of remembering the sacrifice of so many. Jayne and Claire were in attendance to lay the wreath on behalf of John Garside & Son, Congleton.

A lovely service was held at Rood Lane Methodist Church on Saturday night and was well attended. So many candles lit and loved ones remembered. This was held on behalf of staff at John Garside & Son and the team at Congleton United Reformed Church.

What a wonderful man, and the amazing tribute given today at Birches Crematorium & Remembrance Park Kate did you proud with your service and you got your Land Rover Defender Hearse Hire. One Life Lived It.

What a amazing time we had at Congleton Pride yesterday, Saturday 19th July. We spoke with a lot of people including some that have used our service, some had questions and then the ministers and even the Town Mayor stopped by. It rained a little but it didn't stop those there having a great time. Thank you to Congleton Pride for looking after us and supplying the table and gazebo. We are grateful for the help off some of our colleagues from other branches, Liz and Becky. We of course cannot forget The Flower Gallery who supplied our lovely bright flowers and decorated our memory tree to brighten it up, you did an amazing job as always. We donated the flowers and a pack of biscuits to Park Lane Nursing Home in Congleton so that many more people could enjoy them.

We can't wait for next year so you might see us at a Makers Market and we're also planning to attend the Christmas Light Switch-On.....so keep your eyes peeled!!
