Estyn, Michael, Ian & Vijay, enjoyed sitting outside having snacks and coffee, Ian was especially happy to have a zero beer and peanuts 🤩🍻

Estyn had a read of the daily newspaper, we all joined in doing the crossword, Michael was reminiscing about his job a a wagon driver and how he had an Alsatian and 3 Jack Russel dogs.

Vijay was proud to share he had 2 daughters who live in London 💜

Since April, Park Lane have been cultivating our wheelbarrow to enter the Congleton in Bloom Competition where all the homes in Congleton compete to win a prize for Congleton in Bloom part of the North West in Bloom entries.

We started in April sowing our own Sunflowers 🌻 then decorating our wheelbarrow, through to planting up and looking after the barrow as the flowers grow.

It has been a team effort with residents and staff all taking part. This years theme is Plants and People so we hope our Bill and Ben theme hits the brief.

The wheelbarrow gets picked up this week ready for judging next week. We all have our fingers crossed to see if we place 🌻🌻🌻

Dorothy and Jackie had a lovely run out in the car! 🚗

We went to Knypersley Pool and then went to Glebe Farm to see the animals, Dorothy was particularly happy to see the donkeys. We also saw goats, llamas and sheep 🐐🐑

We spent the morning playing tennis 🎾 and enjoying the exercise and in the afternoon we had the quarter finals of the championship on and enjoyed a lovely bowl of Strawberries and Cream 🍓
