Happy St Patricks Day ☘️
We had a busy morning making a top hat with an Irish theme, and had fun trying it on. One size didn't fit all! We painted a shamrock, concentrated on a wordsearch, and played ball toss. There was a special menu today and the slab of Guiness cake with cream cheese was a big hit. We sang and danced to the Dubliners. Later we will look forward to a glass of Guiness...to be sure!

Happy Mother's Day to all! 💐
We celebrated with 'our' Mother's with giving homemade cards, and we included non Mother's with a Ladies day card. Each had a present, and a tasty treat which included the men too. Can't leave them out! We had the wonderful Johnny Smyth come in to sing as well. Hope all the Mother's are having a lovely day today.

The Boogie Beats movement to music with Naomi came for a visit on Wednesday. With Giggles the monkey causing chaos and the children's laughter is a tonic. At the end of the session, all our residents receive a sticker from the little ones. Our residents integrating with young ones gives a great feeling of mental well being and joy.

January has gone in a flash and apart from all the great music we enjoyed, we were also busy with our mind, body and soul. We had dog therapy, aromatherapy sessions, puzzles, and hand and foot care. Helping to brush the floor is also a meaningful and stimulating activity. Focusing on our resident's wellbeing helps them to live well by balancing physical, mental, and emotional needs. It's something we do well!
