Remember, your GP surgery requires 48 hours to process your prescription requests before the pharmacy receives it. We then need to assemble your prescriptions safely, and order in any stock required. Don't get caught short over Christmas.

You can order repeat prescriptions through the NHS App or at your local GP.

Please allow 3-4 working days from first ordering your prescriptions, to collection within the pharmacy.

Please be kind and courteous with our team. We are working hard as always, to ensure you get your medication in a safe and timely manner.

Bare in mind, we will be closed for the weekend following Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Order your medication early if you will not have enough to get through this period.

⚠️ Important Service Update – Shotley Bridge Urgent Treatment Centre

The Trust has extended the temporary overnight closure of the Shotley Bridge Urgent Treatment Centre until January 2026 to support ongoing recruitment and workforce stabilisation.

The centre will remain closed from midnight to 8am during this period.

We thank you for your understanding as we continue to provide safe and compassionate care for all our patients.
