This achievement reflects the collective effort our organisation has made over recent years to create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone we work with, our colleagues, partners, and the wider community of those we serve and support us.
As part of our ongoing commitment to health and wellbeing, we have introduced a wide range of initiatives over the years based on the needs, wants and from direct feedback from our employees, including:

• Corporate gym memberships with Thrive, Pure Gym available to employees
• Extra Birthday Annual Leave policy
• Access to Occupational Health services, therapy, and legal support
• Dementia Champions
• Mental Health First Aiders
• Domestic Abuse Champions
• Increased Continued Professional Development opportunities in partnership with Derwentside College and New College Durham.
• Company Events, health screenings and smoke free cessation sessions and kits, Big Team Challenges.
• Partnered with Charitable organisations such as cancer research, white ribbon uk, macmillan cancer support, and food banks in our local communities.
• Achieved the first Accredited National Living Wage Employer in Domicilliary care within County Durham.
• A growing programme of wellbeing initiatives, accessible support services, and opportunities to engage in charitable and voluntary activities, and much much more!
