We check the qualifications of all our Home Care Support Workers rigorously and all references are thoroughly taken up to ensure that our Service Users have piece of mind. Kelly Park Limited strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality, privacy, choice, confidentiality, equality and diversity of all Service Users, and in so doing will be sensitive to the Service Users ever changing needs. As we approach the festive season, we are pleased to confirm the Christmas Overtime Rates for our Festive Period starting from 27th November up until the 31st of December. Thank you all for your continued hard work, dedication, and exceptional commitment to our Service Users throughout the year, it truly makes a difference.

⭐Overtime Rate - £16 per hour
Applicable from: 27th November to 31st December

🎁 Enhanced Bank Holiday Rates – £20 per hour
These enhanced rates apply on the following key dates:
➡Christmas Day – 25th December
➡Boxing Day – 26th December
➡New Year’s Day – 1st January

🟣 OPERATION OVERCOAT 🟣

🔹Consett Neighbourhood Team are looking at gathering donations as part of the 'Operation Overcoat' campaign.

The campaign will allow those no longer used coats which are hiding away in a cupboard, be brought back to life by those who are in desperate need to stay warm over this winter period.

🔹We will aim to take donations of any coat which is suitable for any gender but most importantly children's coats of any size, including babies and toddlers.

The coats MUST be in a suitable condition which will allow full appropriate use to those who may require one over winter.

🔹Donations can be dropped off at Consett Police Station front counter Mon-Fri from 10am - 2pm.

❗Donations can be brought up to the station from Tuesday 18th November and will be accepted until Friday 12th December 2pm.❗

⚠️ Yellow warning issued for snow and ice ⚠️

The met office have issued a yellow warning for snow and ice from 6am Wednesday to 6pm Thursday for the following areas:

Darlington
Durham
Gateshead
Hartlepool
Middlesbrough
Newcastle upon Tyne
North Tyneside
Northumberland
Redcar and Cleveland
South Tyneside
Stockton-on-Tees
Sunderland

Snow showers will feed inland from the North Sea through Wednesday and Thursday, giving significant accumulations in places.

Where these are most frequent, 2-5 cm will be possible at low levels, with 5-10 cm on hills above 100 m elevation, and potentially as much as 15-20 cm above 300 m.

Some fairly strong gusts could be associated with the showers and some isolated lightning strikes are possible at times.

Where showers persist and/or snow partially thaws and then refreezes overnight, this will bring a risk of ice.
