Here we assessed Hannah’s full face, taking into account her concerns and created a tailored treatment plan. The goal is always looking your best, not overdone.

Dermal filler can have a bad rep. Often if assessment is rushed and facial features are not considered then we can end up looking less ‘ourselves’. When filler is placed in the perfect place it always just look ‘right’ and in line with the patients features, instead of standing out.

Dissolving lip filler. Why? Sometimes due to poor product and placement, but sometimes not! The lips are highly active as an area and it’s a common area to see migration of filler. But it’s not something you need to just put up with.

This patient came to me for a long lasting, refresh of her smile with as little maintenance as possible.
Here we removed 22 composite veneers and 2 resin bridges on the upper. The bridges were replacing two teeth that had been missing her whole life.
We then did a course of whitening on her natural teeth that were hidden under the composite.
Followed by replacing the composite with veneers and bridges made of Emax and zirconia that will be less prone to chipping and staining over time. We chose the colour to match with her whitened natural teeth.
This is going to keep her smiling for a long time with as little maintenance as possible. Love this result for this lovely patient!! ❤️

Are you suitable for topical Tretinoin/ Retinoids?
If you followed me for a while, you’ll know that I absolutely love topical tretinoin. It is backed by science. It turns over skin cells to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve signs of photo aging, improves acne and is the gold standard skincare for anti-aging.
However, one size does not fit all and I would be cautious to prescribe this for any patients in the following categories. If you have skin irritation, rosacea, a weakened skin barrier or you just will not wear SPF 50 we would discuss this in our consultations as factors to consider not introducing a retinoid.
