Tinnitus is rarely just a noise.
In my work, I see how much it can affect sleep, concentration and emotional wellbeing — especially when stress and anxiety are already present. The more the nervous system stays on high alert, the more intrusive the sound can feel.
I’ve written an article explaining how sophrology can help teach the brain to disconnect from tinnitus, using gentle, body-based techniques that calm the nervous system rather than fight the sound.
