Connecting with People work to progress the implementation of research findings into clinical practice, by pioneering a strategic approach to su***de and self-harm mitigation, and emotional resilience. Bitesize (two hour) modular training builds knowledge, skills, confidence and promotes a compassionate approach. The training includes the SAFETool which provides a robust framework for identifying
and managing su***de risk, contributing towards excellent clinical governance. The Connecting with People Clinical Tools have been developed in collaboration with the leading practitioners and academics in the UK and have been subject to a thorough peer-review process. This programme aims to support the development of a common language and approach, promoting more consistent documentation of the assessment process and more integrated response across statutory services, third sector providers and communities.
