Did you the World Health Organisation now formally recognises Physiotherapy as integral to overall support and well being of autistic individuals?

Research has shown that risk of movement difficulties was identified in 87% of autistic children aged 5 to 15 years (Bhat 2020).

The info graphic above reposted from and published by shows that there is so much emerging evidence/research to support the role of physiotherapy led motor skills and physical activity interventions in improving movement difficulties, motor skills, sport and physical activity participation and also in identification of movement disorders or delays prior to diagnosis.

This is a great start looking at children's food menus by Food Standards Agency and local councils including Mid Ulster District Council. Would be even better to include school dinner/lunch menus, which school children eat much more regularly than restaurant/cafe food

The Food Standards Agency in Northern Ireland (FSA) and local council research shows children’s menus need improvement.

The FSA has revealed the results of research undertaken in partnership with local councils, including Mid Ulster District Council, into children’s meals served in restaurants here.
