Room 6 had their annual Summer trip to Portrush, everyone had great fun in Curry's - on the ghost train and carousel, as always the 2p machines were a big attraction. Tides restaurant served us a beautiful lunch, we then went on to the Jet Centre for a some bowling with some mighty striking talent on display. To complete a wonderful day we had some ice cream. Plenty of happy memories created for the service users and staff.

Happy New Year to everyone from Cookstown Adult Centre 💫 Our service users had a busy month of December practicing their Makaton signs with the Speech and Language Therapy Team and adult centre staff. Well done everyone, here's to another Makaton fun year!! You are all stars 🌟

We got a visit from a very special visitor to the centre on 11th December, Mr Claus himself. He spent the morning giving out gifts and having his photograph taken with anyone that wanted to have that special memory captured. The day became even more festive as we celebrated with our Christmas dinner, crackers, music and even some jokes. Merry Christmas from everyone at Cookstown Adult Centre.

The Service Users in the Centre had a fantastic day yesterday carving pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch and displaying their Scarecrows for the Scarecrow Competition.
