A client came in this evening complaining of tingling in her middle finger and soreness around the wrist — symptoms that had been worsening, especially after a day of office work.

Following a full consultation and special tests, it confirmed my initial thoughts: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Carpal Tunnel occurs when the median nerve becomes compressed at the wrist, often due to repetitive movements or prolonged poor positioning — something many office workers experience.

Treatment focused on massage to the wrist and forearm to help reduce tension and relieve pressure on the nerve.

Aftercare advice included targeted exercises and simple changes to daily habits to support recovery and prevent further irritation.

If you’re experiencing similar symptoms — tingling, numbness, or wrist pain — don’t ignore it. Early treatment can make a big difference.

Being a mum is a full-time job — and sometimes your body feels every bit of it.
This lovely client came in today struggling with ongoing pain in her back, neck, and shoulders. After a detailed consultation, it became clear that frequently carrying her children was placing a lot of strain on her upper body.
I focused on a targeted sports massage to release built-up tension, followed by guided shoulder stretches to improve mobility. She also left with a personalised plan of simple exercises and stretches to help manage the discomfort between sessions and prevent it from building back up.
It’s so important to remember — you can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking time to look after your body isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.
