We started the morning off in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, knitting and chatting away with each other, sharing stories and laughs.

We split off to do things we each enjoy, from colouring to painting, drawing, and even working on some beautiful diamond art. It was wonderful to see everyone so absorbed in their crafts, sharing tips and admiring each other’s work.

Lunch was delicious, and afterwards, we gathered together to sing “Happy Birthday” to a lovely lady.

We all had a little dance to Auld Lang Syne in celebration—there’s nothing like music to bring everyone together in the most joyful way.
The fun continued with a lively balloon game that had everyone laughing and cheering. It was a perfect way to end a day full of good vibes and great company.

As we bid farewell, we wished each other a very Happy New Year. Here’s to 2026 bringing health, happiness, and countless moments of joy for all our wonderful friends and their families.

Some helpful tips……………
We get asked how do you get our loved ones to drink.

We do “cheers good health”and all drink together something that can alert the natural automatic triggers,
Instead a lot of the words like “you have to drink” can trigger a negative vibe in an already confused world.

Eating…….. to much in one place can become to intimidating, know your loved one’s little and often can work better, finger foods can help, just by holding a knife and folk and co-ordinating what is on the plate is to many signals in one hit so break them down, handing one item to a loved one will wake up automatic hand co-ordination and then if you eat the same they can copy, without saying “you have to eat something”.

Hope these little tips help on such a hard journey if you would like some tips get in touch…….. by the way you are all doing an amazing job it’s the hardest journey please don’t do it alone.

Today was a very special day as we enjoyed our first trip out to the Ipswich Regent to see the pantomime Cinderella ✨
It was a wonderful and successful outing, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show, the laughter, and being out together.
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so memorable — we had a great time!

We started the day with a morning cuppa and a good chat, easing ourselves gently into the day. Creativity filled the room as everyone got busy with diamond art Christmas cards, drawing, knitting and sewing, while one of our more ambitious projects saw a Spitfire plane being built – it really was all going on today!

After lunch we wrapped up for a short walk, but it was a bit nippy so we didn’t stay out too long. The afternoon finished with some chair exercises to keep us moving, followed by a well-earned glass of nosecco and a few chocolates to end the day on a cheerful note.

Although the weather wasn’t very kind to us today and the rain kept us indoors, it didn’t dampen our spirits. We spent the day continuing with our Christmas tree decorations, enjoying getting creative and really getting into the festive mood together.

There was time to relax as well, with some of us enjoying reading the newspapers while others worked on their knitting projects. Music filled the room as we sang along to our favourite Christmas songs, bringing lots of smiles and lovely memories.

We also made sure to keep active with some gentle chair exercises, helping everyone stay moving in a fun and supportive way. Overall, it was a cosy, cheerful day spent together, full of laughter, music, and festive cheer.

The morning was spent getting creative as everyone made their own Christmas decorations to take home. There were lots of smiles as decorations were carefully crafted, ready to be hung proudly on their own Christmas trees.

Later, we wrapped up warm and headed out for a gentle walk to the antiques centre. Along the way, we took time to deliver Christmas cards to our neighbours, spreading festive cheer and enjoying being part of the local community. The fresh air, familiar surroundings, and friendly greetings made the walk especially enjoyable.

We then gathered together to sing Christmas carols. The room was filled with music, laughter, and the joy of shared memories as everyone joined in.
Most of all, today was about enjoying each other’s company 🥰

We enjoyed a calm and relaxing start to the day, spending the morning knitting, reading the newspapers, and chatting over a lovely cuppa. It was a peaceful time to unwind and enjoy each other’s company.

Later in the morning, we got creative with some arts and crafts. Everyone enjoyed working on diamond art Christmas cards and festive Christmas pictures, with lots of concentration, colour, and smiles all around.

After a buffet-style lunch, the wonderful Georgina Cristallino joined us for a very special afternoon. She sang Christmas carols, filling the room with festive cheer. It quickly turned into a joyful session of singing along, dancing, and reminiscing — a truly wonderful afternoon that lifted everyone’s spirits.

The morning began with a refreshing walk, giving everyone a chance to stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh air. Afterwards, we gathered for arts and crafts, where creativity was in full flow. We worked on diamond art, drawings, and a lovely wooden Christmas wreath.

Following lunch, the energy picked up again with a lively round of table tennis, along with our chair exercises to keep everyone moving safely. We rounded off the afternoon with our much-loved balloon game, filling the room with laughter and smiles.

Throughout the day, we also enjoyed a cheerful sing-along to Christmas carols, bringing joy and a festive atmosphere.

Have a lovely weekend everyone 🎄
