“If I go to diabetic screening, do I still need an eye test?”

We get this question a lot.
Diabetic eye screening and your eye exam with your optometrist are not the same thing, and both are important for protecting your sight.

Diabetic screening checks for diabetic retinopathy (diabetes complication involving the eye), while an eye examination looks at your overall eye health and vision.
