If you’ve ever stepped on the scales and thought, “How have I gained 2lbs overnight?!” — this one’s for you 👇
Your body weight changes every single day…and it’s not body fat.
Here’s what’s actually happening:
✨ Water retention from salty food, carbs, dehydration or hormones
✨ Food still digesting (your meals have weight!)
✨ Hormones + menstrual cycle causing bloat
✨ Stress + poor sleep raising cortisol
✨ Training inflammation while your muscles repair
✨ Changes in toilet routine (yes, it matters!)
✨ Alcohol messing with hydration + hormones
🩷None of these = fat gain.🩷
⛔️ but not sticking to your food diary and kidding yourself by not filling it out that’s the one that will lead to fat gain ⛔️ (sorry not sorry still love me🤣)
They’re normal, temporary, and expected — so don’t let the scales control your mood 💛
Keep showing up. Trust the process. Your results come from consistency, not daily fluctuations.
Thought would share some of the things we look at in Priors Hall Nutrition - lifestyle, good habits, accountability which leads to sustainable results
See you in club 😘
Big loves
