✨ Tomorrow Evening – We Can’t Wait to Welcome You ✨

Our Christmas Remembrance Service is tomorrow, and we’re so looking forward to sharing this special evening with you 🤍

🕯 Please arrive in good time so you can get settled, enjoy a drink, and soak up the atmosphere before we begin.

The bar will be open to purchase drinks, and we’ll also have free tea & coffee, mulled wine, and festive treats waiting for you ☕🍷🍪

🚗 Parking Information
If the front car park at the hotel is full, please continue round to the left-hand side of the hotel, where there is additional parking available.

🎄 On Arrival
Please enter through the hotel’s main entrance and proceed to the Rockingham Suite. At the first wooden chalet, you’ll be able to collect your loved one’s decoration. You are then warmly invited to place it on the Remembrance Tree before the service begins.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU… 🙏 🎄

A few weeks ago, we launched a community paper chain project, inviting all primary schools in Corby and the surrounding areas to take part.

We’re delighted to share that the paper chains are now being returned, with many local schools contributing. These chains will decorate the room for our remembrance service, each link containing a Christmas wish or message written by the children.

To all the schools who have participated: thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Your messages and wishes will fill our room with hope and light.

✨ One Week to Go! ✨

We’re thrilled to share that our event has officially sold out with over 350 people attending! 💙

BUT DON’T WORRY….. we’ve managed to secure some additional seats. If you intend to join us, please reserve your FREE ticket online so we can make sure you have a place (booking link below).

As always, any loved one we have cared for will be automatically remembered during the service. However, please don’t forget to send in the names and photos of any other loved ones you’d like included.

To ensure we have time to create the decorations, we kindly ask that all names are submitted by Friday 12th December.

A Special Dedication 💙

Over the past few weeks, we have had the honour of caring for a gentleman whose connection to our building runs deep. Many in our community will remember Lee, a man whose business once occupied our very premises, and whose presence brought warmth, kindness, and character to the space we now call home.

For the past 18 months, we have been searching for the right name for our family room, something that would truly reflect the heart and history of the space.

With his family’s blessing, we are proud to share that we have named it the “Esslemont Suite”, a lasting tribute to someone who meant so much to so many.

Lee’s memory will live on within these walls, the same walls from which we intend to serve and support many more families in the years ahead. Just as Lee made memories here, we will continue to care for this building and the people who walk through its doors, honouring him in the gentlest of ways.

Lee, your legacy remains 🕊️

Today, our little elf set out on her third eternity job, delivering our paper-chain project to primary schools across Corby and the surrounding area 🎄

We’re asking children to share a piece of their heart by writing a Christmas message or wish on the back of a paper chain and returning it to us. Every message, every hope, every tiny dream will be linked together, forming a chain that reminds us how connected we truly are.

These chains will become part of our remembrance service, a symbol of love, community, and the strength we find in one another.

Our wish is that this simple act brings comfort, unity, and a gentle reminder that even in difficult times, there is always hope shining ahead 🌟

Caring for a loved one is one of life’s purest honours, a tender duty of the heart. As we say our goodbye to Lee, we find ourselves in a moment that feels beautifully full circle. Our premises have brought him home, back to the place where he first stepped into his career. And now, in the same walls, he is held with the very devotion and dedication he once poured so generously into his work. Our hearts are full, and we are humbled beyond words 🤍🕊️
