Price increase notice:

I am committed to providing good quality care at reasonable prices and as such I have managed to keep the price of a treatment session the same since June 2023.

Costs have increased considerably since then so unfortunately from 1st January 2026 the price will be increasing by £3 to £43 per session.

New patient appointments will remain the same at £60.

📚Lending Library Book Spotlight - Saturated Facts by Dr Idz

Dr Idz is a UK medical doctor with a Masters of Research in Nutrition and Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine. With 1.9million followers on TikTok he is well known for pushing back against misinformation.

This book is easy to read and well set out, starting with busting common myths about nutrition such as fats being bad.

I don’t necessarily agree with everything in this book (such is the nature of nutrition science and the fact that every person has a unique set of genetics and microbiome), but it is an excellent starting point for anyone who is confused about all the misinformation there is out there about food and wants to eat better.

📚 Lending Library Book Spotlight - Food for Life by Tim Spector

Released late in 2022, this book goes into detail about all the different foods we eat and combines research about the gut microbiome and how to make better food choices from his previous 2 books, ‘The Diet Myth’ and ‘Spoonfed’, both of which are also in my lending library.

Tim shares his experiences of self-testing alongside data from his health science research company ZOE about why everyone responds differently to food and why there is no one size fits all approach to dietary advice. There are handy tables at the back of the book detailing the health benefits of individual foods.
