Some of the lovely people living with us enjoyed a walk for More...Fresh Air through Bradford on Avon and along the canal, we made a new four legged friend, and had a lovely hot chocolate to warm up with after talking about the old Tithe Barn!

The people living with us went on a journey to visit the Westbury White Horse! We had a fantastic time taking in the scenery and More...Fresh Air, talking about how the land had changed over the years. To follow it up we enjoyed a pint and a delicious pub lunch before heading back to Brunel to sleep it all off!

Several of our fantastic staff at Brunel House took part in the Alzheimer's Society Bristol Memory Walk!

We completed the 5k walk and had a fantastic time doing so, and managed to raise an incredible £345 for the Alzheimer's Society! Well done everyone!

The people living with us enjoyed a trip down to Bournemouth Beach for More...Fresh Air!

We had a brilliant time talking about how Bournemouth pier has changed over the years, enjoyed a ride on the observation wheel and even treated ourselves to a fish and chips from Harry Ramsdens, naturally followed by a Mr Whippy! Safe to say we were all knackered upon returning to Brunel House!

The people living with us enjoyed an afternoon of baking some sweet treats, which we then used on the 3rd as part of our community coffee morning for Pain Awareness Month!

Several of our staff enjoyed popping into our cafe to learn a little bit more about how we can support those living with us while enjoying a bite to eat and a coffee!

On Thursday the 21st of August, we had a fantastic visit from Tropical Discovery Workshops! Kris brought some incredible creatures with him and has very kindly given us two Macleay's stick insects for us to look after! We're very excited to see how they grow and can't wait for Kris to come back!

On Saturday the 16th of August, Brunel House had our Annual Summer Fete! This year we took inspiration from the wonderful Glastonbury fest to throw our own Glaston-Bruie party! We had raffle prizes from The Flemish Weaver, Four Acres Dog Field and Seven Acres Dog Field along with some other wonderful donations, and stalls set up by Bath Cats and Dogs Home and Dorothy House,
along with several other local small businesses!

Not only that, but Andy T delivered a smashing performance as always, and our bouncy castle did not disappoint! We had so many wonderful compliments from our visitors about Brunel House, we can't wait to do it all again next year!
