15th Strongest Natural Man in England
Proper step up to opens this year, amongst 30 of the absolute strongest natties.

Came in with numbers in mind, hit everything I set out to do - I would’ve liked more on the deadlift but had a minor tear in my hamstring about 2 weeks ago which just couldn’t recover enough in time, so I paid for the deadlift each event afterwards 😂

1: 270kg deadlift - 1 rep. Harder than any 1RM attempt I’ve done 😂
2: 130kg axle - 2 reps. Over the moon with this. Last year I was competing with 105kg overhead, this year it’s 130…
3: 130kg husafell - 70.6m. Definitely wanted more here, but the last 10m that bag decided it was done with me.
4: 100>130kg farmer’s ladder - 56.15s. Happy with this!
5: 140kg sandstone over yoke - 3 reps. Absolutely cooked, happy taking the 3 reps, missed the 4th because of a bad pickup, then my lower body turned to jelly.

Savage prep trying to raise my standards from last year, I feel I’ve done that and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where I can push to.

But for now I’m going to relax, catch up on some sleep and plan my next steps; mainly dropping a few kg and get my deadlifts up to scratch!
